Our Electrician Training online course materials align with the latest version of the National Electrical Code, and we’ll teach you how to install and maintain electrical systems in homes and commercial businesses.
Upon successful completion, students are prepared to:

    • Think critically, do research, calculate minimum requirements, and solve problems.
    • Produce take-off lists, perform layout and install new materials for existing and new projects.
    • Accurately demonstrate entry-level skills in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
    • Practice safety on the job and recognize potential hazards.
    • Read and interpret all sections of blueprints and draft electrical circuits.

Integrate carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and HVACR systems with electrical installation and maintenance.

Introduction of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration :

The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Program prepares students for employment as technicians in the design, operation, service, repair, installation and sales of these systems and equipment. The program combines theory with extensive practical hands-on training designed to simulate the actual work environment and skills needed to excel in this challenging field.
A student who earns the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Certificate should be able to:

  • Recognize and respond to emergencies by making appropriate decisions regarding first-aid care.
  • Understand and discuss fundamental refrigeration principles, including: trade tools, gas laws, pressure/temperature relationship, heat transfer, refrigerants, compression cycle, compressors, condensers, evaporators, metering devices, refrigeration oils, desiccants and driers, evacuation, and safe handling of refrigerants.
